Special Olympics Montana is a nonprofit organization designed to provide year-round, statewide programs of physical fitness, sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities and closely related developmental disabilities.

Special Olympics never charges fees to our athletes or families in order to participate. Raising funds from community businesses and donors is a crucial part of the movement to include all that are eligible for our sports programs.

The Fundraising Coordinator pursues community fundraising opportunities and manages SOMT-branded fundraising initiatives for area volunteers, such as but not limited to

• the MTN Chevy Truck Raffle sales
• the Polar Plunge
• local business sponsored events
• community partnerships
