Position Title: Traveling Construction Safety Manager

Location: Traveling position - Albany, Jacksonville, La Grange, Pensacola

*Can be flexible about where their homebase is

*Traveling will be weekly, does not have to be overnight but travelling to job sites over North Florida and South Georgia

Salary Range : $30-35/hour

Must Haves:

• 1 year of experience as a Safety Manager
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• OSHA 30 certification
• Clean driving record
• Experience with running construction training orientations
• Ok with Minimal travel – regionally based

Day-to-Day:

• Job Site Safety Oversight
• Monitor active work areas for hazards and compliance.
• Ensure proper PPE usage and adherence to safety protocols.
• Deliver Safety Tutorials
• Conduct short, focused sessions on critical safety topics.
• Reinforce best practices for high-risk tasks.
• Provide Training
• Facilitate scheduled safety training sessions.
• Use pre-prepared training materials; customize as needed for site conditions.
• New hire orientations
• Perform Job Site Audits
• Inspect equipment, signage, and work zones for compliance.
• Document findings and report corrective actions.
• Follow up on previous audit recommendations.

Compensation:

$30/hr to $35/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
