Job Description

The Buehler’s Consumer Affairs Specialist handles consumer inquiries and complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with relevant laws. This role involves resolving issues, providing accurate information, and acting as a consumer advocate within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Interaction – respond to consumer inquiries and complaints via various channels, maintaining professionalism
• B2B Sales Support – Assist the sales team by addressing consumer-related issues that impact business-to-business relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction with business clients
• Issue Resolution – investigate and resolve complaints, coordinating with internal teams and offering solutions
• Documentation – record all interactions and resolutions, and generate reports on consumer feedback
• Compliance – ensure all actions comply with consumer protection laws and stay updated on regulatory changes
• Advocacy – advocate for consumer needs within the company and provide feedback to improve products/service

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
• 2-4 years of customer service experience
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of consumer protection laws
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High level of empathy, patience, and professionalism
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and associated software

Availability Needed…

• 5-days, Mon – Fri
• Normal office hours (8am-4pm)
• 38-40 hours per week

• Attain at least 18 years of age
• Able to occasionally be required to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 50# and occasionally 80#
• Manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; and the ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures; and can do simple math problems
