Overview:

Our client, a Global Fortune 50 organization and one of world’s largest distributors of Healthcare systems, Medical supplies & Pharmaceutical products, seeks an accomplished Contract Specialist.

*** Candidate must be authorized to work in USA without requiring sponsorship ***

*** Location: Remote – Alpharetta, GA (The job is largely remote 5 days a week, but need to be in office to meet the team a few times a month.)

*** Duration: 10+ months contract w/ possibility of extension

Important Information:

  • Starting at part-time hours - 5 days a week, 4 hours a day at 20 hours a week - we may need to increase to full-time 40 hours a week, depending on workflow and business needs.
  • Guaranteed minimum 3-month assignment that could extend to 6-12 months based off business needs!
  • Perks of the Assignment: Flexibility to work from home. Join a team of 8 other professionals. Will have opportunity to particulate in local (Alpharetta) team meetings/events/activities. Will have larger team support to support with training and cross training opportunities.

About the Role:

The position is responsible for delivering risk management support across business units, with a focus on contract review for insurance-related obligations. The goal is to ensure alignment with corporate standards and mitigate organizational risk through proactive measures and compliance oversight.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review contracts to ensure insurance-related obligations meet corporate risk appetite and standards.
  • Identify and recommend key clauses for risk transfer, including indemnification, limitation of liability, and minimum insurance requirements.
  • Collaborate with legal and business stakeholders to promote a culture of risk awareness and proactive risk mitigation, fostering collaboration and excellent customer service.
  • Maintain accurate records of contract reviews, insurance certificates, and compliance. documentation.
  • Monitor performance metrics related to risk management activities.
  • Review and issue certificates of insurance to meet contractual requirements.

Required Skills:

  • 7+ years’ experience working with a large corporate company and/or law firm/insurance company with contract reviewing experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
