Position Overview:

Now Hiring! Regional - Fleet Manager
Location: Springdale, AR


Job Summary: The Fleet Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and overseeing the processes related to maintenance of equipment, mechanical systems, properties, and facilities to support operational effectiveness across the Central Region (AR, OK, MO, KS, NE).

What You’ll Do:

  • Monitor the condition of property, facilities, and equipment to identify maintenance needs

  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules for assets

  • Create and monitor strategies for continuous improvement in equipment reliability and performance

  • Oversee and manage the preventative maintenance process

  • Research and apply best practices for maintenance and repairs

  • Integrate new technologies and industry trends into maintenance processes

  • Develop and execute asset review/audit programs

  • Take corrective actions based on review/audit findings

  • Assist in planning and overseeing maintenance and capital improvement projects

  • Schedule, assign, and oversee staff tasks and duties

  • Manage maintenance staff performance, training, and development

  • Ensure staff compliance with regulations, policies, and safety procedures

  • Maintain and monitor quality standards across all processes

  • Contribute to the preparation of annual maintenance budgets and budget requests

  • Monitor expenses to meet budget goals and ensure cost-effectiveness

  • Manage and coordinate vendor contracts and external service providers

  • Oversee parts and materials inventory in Dossier

  • Provide regular reports on maintenance and repair status

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

What You’ll Need:

  • High School Diploma, Technical Degree, or Bachelor's in Logistics, Business Management, or relevant field
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience managing maintenance facilities, programs, and budgets for a hauling company with a fleet of diesel tractors, trailers, and heavy equipment
  • Experience in Waste Management hauling is a plus
  • Experience working with 1099 independent contractors is a plus
  • Proven experience in implementing maintenance best practices and processes
  • Knowledge of DOT safety and environmental regulations
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop teams and people
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem analysis and resolution abilities
  • Effective decision-making skills
Pay Range: USD $50,000.00 - USD $70,000.00 /Yr.
