General Overview

As the Fleet supervisor, your primary responsibility is to oversee the efficient and safe operations the company’s fleet of vehicles. This involves maintaining vehicle conditions and leading technicians and support personnel.

General Purpose

The general purpose of the Fleet Supervisor position is to ensure the efficient, safe, and effective operation of our fleet activities in Atlanta. This includes managing parts inventory, maintaining fleet vehicles, and leading a team to achieve high-performance standards. The goal is to optimize operational efficiency, minimize costs, and ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods, all while upholding safety and quality standards. The Fleet Supervisor contributes to the organization's overall success by ensuring seamless logistics and transportation operations.

Main duties and responsibilities

Fleet Management

• Prioritize and assign work to meet customers’ needs
• Ensure the quality, compliance, and safety of Zerorez assets
• Control repair, inventory, and labor costs
• Meet and exceed customer satisfaction
• Coach and mentor technicians
• Monitor associate work levels
• Facility management, assuring a clean and safe working environment
• Other duties and tasks as required by the supervisor
• Build schedules to ensure on-time PMs.
• Supervise the company’s fleet of vehicles, ensuring regular maintenance and repairs.
• Assist with monitoring and managing fleet costs to ensure budget adherence.
• Assist in implementing strategies to enhance fleet efficiency and lower costs.
• Full-time 12pm-8pm Tuesday-Saturday.
• Salary range is $50k-$66k based on background and experience

Qualifications, Education, and Experience

• At least two years of relatable experience in Fleet operations.
• Basic knowledge and ability of tools (hand tools, power, and pneumatic tools)
• High School Diploma or G.E.D
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean criminal background check
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage priorities and multiple tasks simultaneously
• 3-5 years leading team members.
• Strong computer and analytical skills
• Must be open to flexible shifts.
