This is a full-time, hybrid role, in our NYC Flatiron office and reports to the Group’s Executive Director .

Description:

The Webby Group is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Group Marketing Director to lead marketing efforts for the Webby Awards, Lovie Awards, and Anthem Awards. This role will lead a team of five marketers, report directly to the Group’s Executive Director , and collaborate with the company’s Central Marketing division to drive marketing strategies and revenue growth.

The ideal candidate is culturally fluent, data-informed, and highly strategic. You have a deep understanding of integrated marketing, go-to-market strategy, and can execute campaigns that deliver measurable results. You are comfortable working across multiple initiatives, balancing long-term brand considerations with short-term revenue objectives. You have experience leading high-performing teams and optimizing marketing processes to improve efficiency and impact.

  • Develop the go-to-market strategy for the Webby Group’s award offerings in partnership with the Executive Director and brand unit GMs.
  • Own the integrated marketing strategy and execution across social media, content marketing, events, partnerships, and email marketing.
  • Lead and develop a team of four marketers, including social media, partnerships, content, and account management.
  • Monitor key performance metrics (KPIs) to measure marketing effectiveness and optimize activities for growth.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of marketing assets in collaboration with internal and external creative partners.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 7-10 years of cross-functional marketing experience (social media experience is a plus).
  • 2+ years of management experience, with a proven ability to lead and develop teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute full funnel marketing strategies informed by data and insights.
  • Experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously, with strong prioritization skills based on business impact.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience working in the media & technology, advertising, or entertainment industries.
  • Expertise or experience with marketing automation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with shifting priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience managing the creative process.

  • $125 - 150k total compensation package
