Position Overview: We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Bridge Project Manager to oversee the construction of bridge projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, hands-on experience in bridge construction, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise and manage all on-site activities related to concrete bridge construction.
* Interpret and review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate implementation.
* Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals and timelines are met.
* Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
* Oversee the installation of concrete formwork, reinforcement, and pouring operations.
* Monitor material usage and manage supply logistics to ensure timely delivery and quality control.
* Resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise on-site promptly and effectively.
* Maintain detailed records of project progress, site activities, and any incidents or changes.
* Ensure that all construction activities adhere to environmental and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bridge construction, with a focus on concrete bridges.
* Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
* Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations specific to bridge engineering.
* Proficiency with construction management software and tools.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
