Professional Land Surveyor

Responsibilities:

* Demonstrate excellent attention to detail throughout the survey process.
* Use your knowledge of ALTA/ACSM land title surveys, topographic mapping, courthouse research, boundary surveys, construction layout, and GPS surveys to contribute to the project's success.
* Prepare and maintain maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys in order to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed.
* Direct and verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
* Manage survey projects from proposal through approval process.
* Monitor quality and compliance with professional standards and risk management.
* Conduct survey and deed research to complete boundary resolution for property boundaries and rights-of-way.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

* Ohio Professional Surveyor or working toward license.
* Bachelor's Degree in Survey/Engineering or similar
* 3+ years of experience in surveying
* Experience performing property, boundary, topographic, utility, construction stakeout, and record surveys is required.
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
* Strong background in boundary/property law and boundary analysis
* Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines.
* Ability to manage multiple projects/responsibilities simultaneously.
* Working knowledge of a robot total station and GPS receiver preferred, but not required.
* Maintain excellent client relations
