CTS International is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our Production Engineering team supporting the 787 Program in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing and developing non-recurring build plans to support aircraft during storage, re-activation, and pre-flight activities. Your expertise will contribute to the seamless execution of balance to-go burndowns, seat installations, storage, and flight readiness tasks. This position requires on-site presence and flexibility to work varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance non-recurring build plans to support aircraft during storage, re-activation, and pre-flight activities.
• Review and support completion of any open baseline Statements of Work (SOW).
• Identify appropriate tools, processes, and sequences to assist with job execution.
• Provide shipside support to identify process improvements and address build inquiries.
• Coordinate with engineering functions to address new and existing nonconformances.
• Collaborate with 787 Engineering Teams, including those in Everett and South Carolina Flightline.
• Support aircraft induction activities to and from San Antonio.

Requirements

• Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate of Science degree from an ABET-accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, along with applicable experience in a professional exempt engineering classification, or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering within the aerospace industry.
• At least 1 year of experience supporting any Company Commercial Airplane program (e.g., 737, 767, 777, 787).
• Ability to support 1st and 2nd shifts, including weekends on a rotating basis.

Qualifications:

• Ability to contribute with minimal supervision.
• Previous or current experience with the 787 Program and associated tools.
• Experience with, and ability to access, systems such as Velocity, ENOVIA, and IVT.
• Experience with build planning, processes, and shipside support.
• Experience with interior commodities.

Citizenship Requirement:

Must have US citizenship or Green Card holder.
