Job Description

Burgess is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support our growing marketing efforts. This role is ideal for a driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about marketing strategy, content creation, and brand development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, deliver, and edit marketing materials across multiple platforms.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging aligned with company strategies and sales goals.
  • Manage content and engagement across social media channels.
  • Coordinate and execute email marketing campaigns and mass mailings.
  • Design brochures and sales tools to support business development.
  • Support public relations initiatives to promote the Burgess brand.
  • Write and distribute press releases, white papers, newsletters, and blog content.
  • Administer customer surveys and analyze feedback for actionable insights.
  • Plan and manage conference exhibits and tradeshow logistics.
  • Maintain and update the company website; monitor and report web analytics.
  • Organize client award programs and appreciation events.
  • Track and manage the department’s marketing budget and expenses.
  • Perform general administrative duties (copying, scanning, emailing, etc.).
  • Comply with company policies and take on other duties as assigned.
  • Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Professional, ethical, and maintains confidentiality.

Technical Proficiency In:

  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • CRM and marketing software (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp)

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in a marketing role is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.
  • Occasional movement around the office.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to kneel, stoop, or crouch as needed.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
