Title: Logistics Order Specialist

Location: Baltimore, MD (On-site)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-5:00PM
Pay: $16-$18/hr
Type: Contract-to-Hire, Full-Time, Hourly

About the Role

Our client is seeking a Logistics Order Specalist to support a fast-paced operations team. This role focuses on entering customer orders accurately, responding to inquiries, and ensuring smooth communication between internal teams and external partners. Candidates should be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders with strong accuracy and attention to detail
• Respond to phone and email inquiries from customers and internal departments
• Support issue resolution and escalate concerns when necessary
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Prioritize daily tasks based on urgency
• Assist with general administrative and reporting tasks as assigned

What We're Looking For

• 1-3 years of administrative, data entry, or customer service experience
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable attendance and professionalism
• Coachable, team-oriented attitude

Preferred (not required):

• Experience with order entry or data management systems
• 10-key/data entry experience

Work Environment

• On-site office setting
• Collaborative team environment
• Occasional overtime may be required
