Position Overview:

As a Physical Therapist with a touring production, you'll play a central role in supporting the health, mobility, and performance of artists and performers during rehearsals, productions, tours, and live events. Collaborating closely with a team of physicians and healthcare experts, you'll contribute to comprehensive care that empowers entertainers to shine at their best.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site physical therapy services during rehearsals, performances, optimizing the physical well-being and performance of artists and athletes.
  • Conduct assessments, develop tailored treatment plans, and administer therapeutic interventions to enhance recovery and minimize physical limitations.
  • Forge strong collaborations with fellow healthcare professionals, including physicians, athletic trainers, and support staff, to deliver integrated care.
  • Educate artists on movement mechanics, injury prevention techniques, and customized exercises that sustain their excellence in the industry.
  • Participate in the formulation of innovative protocols and strategies that advance entertainment and performing arts medicine.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy or related field
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist or Athletic Trainer
  • Preferred experience working within dynamic environments, preferably in the entertainment, sports, or performing arts sectors.
  • Exceptional communication skills to connect effectively with diverse artists, performers, and creative individuals.
  • Adaptability to the unique demands of the entertainment industry.
  • A profound passion for the performing arts and a dedication to enhancing the well-being of entertainers.
