About the Role
We are seeking a part-time, freelance Public Relations Expert to enhance our media presence, secure speaking engagements, and implement thought leadership strategies. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in blockchain and technology, with a minimum of 5 years of PR experience, including 2-3 years specifically in the blockchain sector. In this role, you will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and collaborate closely with our content and product teams to create and execute effective PR strategies that align with our brand identity.

Responsibilities
- Media Presence Building: Develop and implement strategies to enhance our visibility across various channels and markets.
- Event Management: Organize and manage events that position us as a leader in blockchain and AI.
- Thought Leadership: Lead initiatives, including speaking engagements, bylined articles, and industry contributions, to establish our authority.
- Content Collaboration: Work with the content team to create press releases, articles, and PR materials that reflect our messaging.
- Market Positioning: Identify and capitalize on key media opportunities to help establish our organization as a leader in the industry.
- Reporting: Regularly report on PR activities, results, and metrics to the CMO, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Team Collaboration: Be self-motivated and proactive while effectively collaborating with internal teams and managing your own projects.

Requirements
- 5+ years of PR experience, with at least 2-3 years in the blockchain and technology sectors.
- Proven success in managing media relations, events, and thought leadership activities.
- Strong understanding of PR strategies and tactics, with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive PR plans.
- Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a remote setting while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the capacity to work independently or as part of a team.
- A strong network of media contacts within the tech and blockchain industries is a plus.
