Job Description

Alderson Loop is seeking a Business Analyst with strong SAP experience to join a Collections team within a large-scale XD project for a leading company in the energy/utilities industry . The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP , particularly within FICA (Financial Accounting for Contract Accounts) and collections/revenue recovery. This role involves working with both business and technical teams to define and document requirements and execute testing, all while supporting a mission-critical initiative tied to customer billing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a key SAP resource on the Collections team within the XD program.
• Collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders to define and document requirements.
• Focus on revenue recovery, collections processes, and reducing bad debt write-offs within the SAP landscape.
• Translate complex utility processes and SAP functionalities into clear, actionable requirements for technical teams.
• Develop and write test scripts, test strategies, and execute tests for business processes using tools like QMetry.
• Work closely with business teams to maximize collections processes and ensure smooth SAP integrations.
• Support large-scale transformations in the utility space, aligning SAP solutions with evolving business needs.
• Provide continuous feedback on SAP system improvements, design, and testing phases to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on SAP and FICA.
• Expertise in SAP collections and revenue recovery processes.
• Utility industry experience is a strong plus, particularly in regulated environments.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, testing, and execution for business processes.
• Familiarity with QMetry or similar tools for writing and managing test scripts.

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on experience with SAP FICA implementations or transformations.
• Proven track record of working through SAP system lifecycles, including design, development, and implementation phases.
• Ability to manage both business side and technical side processes, especially around SAP collections.
