Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join a leading electrical contractor based in Brownwood Tx. As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely estimates for electrical installations and projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to prepare cost estimates, determine materials and labor requirements, and ensure that all estimates align with project specifications and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to prepare accurate electrical estimates.
• Analyze job requirements, materials, labor, and time constraints.
• Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing information.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and project bids.
• Work closely with project managers to monitor costs and make adjustments as necessary.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates on estimating status.
• Ensure compliance with local codes and regulations in estimates and project planning.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of estimates and bids.
• Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an electrical estimator, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and installations.
• Knowledge of industry codes, regulations, and best practices.
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or degree preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
