Blaney Baptist Church, brought by divine grace to embrace the Lord Jesus Christ, is seeking a full-time Pastor.
BBC is a member of the Southern Baptist Convention and the Columbia Metro Baptist Association. We are centrally located in the growing community of Elgin SC, approximately 30 minutes from downtown Columbia, and 2.5 hours to either the coast or the Great Smokey Mountains. BBC currently consists of approximately 224 members with an average Sunday worship attendance of approximately 115. Our community outreach programs include onsite daycare and weekly food and clothing ministries.
Primary pastoral responsibilities will include Sunday morning worship services, Wednesday night Bible study and staff oversight.
It is preferred for the candidate to possess a master’s degree from a Baptist seminary, adhere to the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message and be proficient in exegetical preaching. Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a pastoral position. He should be a man of deep faith capable of Godly leadership, aiding our spiritual growth through exhortation and example.
