Senior Software Development Engineer

What does a successful Software Development Engineering Senior Professional do?

At Fiserv, we are dedicated to transforming financial services technology to benefit our clients. As a Software Development Engineering - Senior Professional, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.

What you will do:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Perform coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance.

• Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes. Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to enhance team capabilities.

What you will need to have:

• 4+ years of experience in software development.

• 4+ years of experience in C#, VB.net, or similar programming languages.

• 4+ years of experience in React, Angular, or similar JavaScript languages.

• 4+ years of experience in SQL databases.

• 4+ years of experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP services.

• 4+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• 4+ years of experience with Agile methodologies.

What would be great to have:

• 5 years of experience in the financial services industry.

• 5 years of experience with microservices architecture.

• ·5 years of experience with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.

Important information about this role:

• This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
• In order to be considered, you must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without need for sponsorship, now or in the future.
• This is a full-time, direct-hire position, and no contract options for unsolicited agency submissions will be considered.
