Job Description

We are looking for a Sign Installer to produce, and install all types of high quality signage. Candidate will interact with our customers and the public in a courteous and professional manner at all times. The ideal candidate for this position must be able to fabricate and install signage, perform site surveys and inspection. Must be good with hand tools and power tools and have the physical stamina to climb a ladder while lifting signs, reach and/or lift items from shelves (including upper shelves), and lift heavy items.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Will travel to different locations within the area we service to preview work areas, install electrical and non-electrical signs as well as install various types of signs. * Operates Mimaki Flatbed Printer, ShopBot CNC, Vision 2550 CNC, properly loads and uses a hot/cold pressure laminator, vertical panel saw, all printers, universal laser cutting machines and tools.

• Masks, weeds, and applies vinyl to various substrates as well as loads and cuts vinyl on a plotter. Fabricates and applies vinyl graphics to any surface.
• Design and build signs and sign frames.
• Properly and efficiently abides by safety guidelines and uses extra caution while using tools to perform the nature of this role.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Willing to work with large format vinyl sign installations
• Willing to work on a ladder, drive a bucket truck and operate boom lift
• Experience with panel saws, rotary drills, hammer drills, etc
• Experience with window and car graphics and wraps preferred
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in Installation preferred

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Have a GED or high school diploma.
• Have excellent communication and client service skills.
• Must be computer knowledgeable and having experience is preferred with basic programs including the Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office Suites and web browsing.
• Must be comfortable working long hours indoors and outdoors in all weather.
• Must be proficient in English.
• Ability to speak Spanish - a plus but not required.
