Job Description

Social Media Strategist

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

We're on the lookout for a talented and passionate Social Media Strategist! In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping and executing social media strategies that inspire, engage, and elevate our brand and those we serve. If you thrive in a collaborative, innovative, and supportive environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Role Overview:

Are you the next Social Media Strategist we're searching for?

As a Social Media Strategist, you'll be a trusted guide for creating and implementing social media strategies alongside divisional leaders, agency owners, and field agents. Your ability to communicate effectively across various experience levels—whether with agents or business owners—will be essential as you educate them on best practices in social media.

This role requires nationwide travel, using your presentation skills to teach insurance professionals how to optimize their social media presence. You'll also be the voice of our brand, ensuring consistency and promoting the value of social media practices as directed by the Sales and Marketing teams. Additionally, you'll help manage marketing assets like Google Business listings, Birdeye profiles, and microsites.

This is a fully remote, work-from-home position.

What You'll Do:

Travel nationwide to teach and implement effective social media strategies and provide support at events.
Occasionally travel internationally for major company events.
Serve as an outgoing ambassador, promoting a positive brand image and fostering engagement.
Work closely with the Marketing Team to coordinate social media strategies at corporate, agency, and individual levels.
Present and explain brand standards and the capabilities of Google Business listings, Birdeye profiles, microsites, and social media platforms.
Stay updated on the latest trends and content requirements in the social media space.

What You'll Bring:

A Bachelor's degree in social media, graphic design, digital marketing, or a related field.
1-2 years of professional experience in social media design and/or account management.
A genuine passion for social media and digital marketing.
Willingness to travel frequently.
Confidence and enthusiasm as a public speaker.
Strong communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with management and team members.
Initiative and creativity when approaching new projects.
Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Meticulous attention to detail, particularly when proofreading and writing.
Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere) and/or video editing is a plus.
Experience with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Sprout, etc.) and online reputation platforms (Birdeye, Google My Business, etc.) is a plus.

How We Support You:

We believe in fostering an environment that not only supports your career growth but also your overall well-being. Here's how we help you thrive:

Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans to ensure your well-being.
Life insurance benefits and retirement plans, including a company-matched 401k.
Wellness reimbursements and gym discounts to help you stay healthy.
Paid holidays and time off to support a healthy work-life balance.
Ongoing development and training programs to help you grow and unlock your full potential.

Your Future Awaits:

If you're looking for a role where your contributions are valued, your growth is supported, and you can make a real impact, we want to hear from you. This is your opportunity to build a professional legacy and grow within an environment that celebrates your unique talents and perspectives. Your voice matters here—are you ready to make a difference?
