STAFF SERVICES ANALYST (PERMANENT FULL TIME) – GOLD FIELDS DISTRICT / FOLSOM SECTOR / FOLSOM LAKE STATE RECREATIONAL AREA
The reporting location for this position is the Sector office in Folsom. This position will work under the direction of the State Park Superintendent III. The primary duties for this position are coordination for all special event programs in the Folsom Lake State Recreation Area, as well as the District-wide special event contact and support for all other sectors in the Gold Fields District. The incumbent will schedule and meet with all event promoters, financial sponsors and district staff for pre-event planning and subsequent to the events for program evaluations. Responsibility for tracking all associated costs, monitoring receipts from promoters to ensure timely payment for services rendered. Calculates relative costs for billing purposes and tracks special event revenues. The incumbent will have responsibility for scheduling appropriate staff for event coverage and will write all necessary correspondence to promoters and financial sponsors. This position also has direct responsibility for scheduling the Group Picnic area and the still and motion film permit program events. This position may be required to work some weekends and holidays. Knowledge and experience with various database systems and Microsoft Office is desirable. This position is designated as not telework eligible.State housing is not available. Working conditions include both Indoor and outdoor work environments. Daily use of personal computer and a variety of software applications. Work includes use of phones and other office machines and equipment. May work weekends during special events.
