JOB SUMMARY

Talent acquisition responsibilities include sourcing candidates through various channels, planning interview and selection procedures and hosting or participating in career and industry events. To be successful in this role, you should have a proven track record in developing trusting relationships within the Veterinary Industry. We will consider a remote based role for a highly qualified candidate; flexibility to travel as needed will be required.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Coordinate with Development Team to identify target markets and staffing needs
• Source potential candidates through various channels (social platforms, professional networks)
• Coordinate and attend various marketing and social events to attract candidates
• Market and promote CityVet as an employer to potential candidates
• Coordinate all aspects of candidate experience; interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews
• Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using our Applicant Tracking System
• Help design job profiles and selection criteria where needed that reflect position requirements
• Support employer branding initiatives
• Help develop appropriate marketing tools and programs to attract candidates to CityVet
• Manage select campus relationships and extern coordination
• Foster long-term relationships with past and potential candidates

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a Talent/DVM Acquisition Specialist in Veterinary Medicine field or similar space
• Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks
• Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
• Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Highly professional demeanor
• Flexible, tenacious and resourceful attributes
• Experience administering successful campus recruiting programs
• Branding and marketing savvy
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Veterinary Sciences or relevant field
