2nd Shift Warehouse Worker

Salary:

Starting wage ~ $24.70/HR

Job Function:

The Warehouse worker role is responsible for accurately filling customer orders, receiving and stock inventory as well as operating machinery. This position requires strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read orders to ascertain catalog numbers, sizes, colors and quantities of merchandise.
• Measure, weigh, or count products or materials.
• Obtain merchandise from bins and shelves.
• Operate electric pallet jacks, forklifts, cutters if qualified.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Wrap and label packages for delivery.
• Warehouse housekeeping duties
• This position is a Union position and will require a 90-day probationary period
• Other duties as assigned.

• Demonstrates detailed knowledge of the company's products & services.
• Possesses strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Exhibits strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Promotes teamwork and collaboration.
• Communicates clearly and effectively.
• Ability to operate machinery/equipment with safety as the priority.
• Has knowledge in safety training and best practices.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to walk, sit, talk, and hear.
• Occasionally lift office products and supplies up to 50 pounds and team lift above 50 pounds.
• The position operates in a professional warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, forklifts, pallet jacks, cutters, and wrappers.
• Ability to climb ladders.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
Full-time Union position at Anchor Central Monday through Friday 2:00pm-10:00pm
